Excel Dryer was thrilled to learn about Artists for Humanity (AFH) and all the great work they’ve accomplished. A unanimous thought echoed - A collaboration is in order!
We reached out to the talented and elated teen artists at AFH for the opportunity to bring to life custom art covers for the XLERATOR® Hand Dryers and XChanger® Combo kits located in restrooms spread across AFH’s Epicenter. The opulent Epicenter is spectacular in every measure! If you don’t know, now you know! This 23,500-square-foot venue is Boston’s first LEED Platinum-certified building, with numerous patrons willing to vouch for its irresistibly inviting charm.
“People see them, and they look almost like cool sculptural pieces, but you can still tell they are hand dryers—just the coolest hand dryers you’ve ever seen,” said Rich Frank, director of business development at AHF. “Plus, the dryers’ 100% ADA-compliant recess kits make the user experience welcoming, friendly, and easy; it’s probably the best bathroom experience in Boston.”
Over time, we’ve worked with numerous organizations, designing custom XLERATOR covers that cater to their needs. However, our collaboration with AFH represents our premier customization project involving original artwork. Leveraging digital image technology, we place the concerned artwork on high-resolution files, which our experts then infuse into our products to create unique masterpieces that reflect the ethos mirrored throughout the AFH building.
The AFH is synonymous with art-stained hands that must stay clean daily, creating the requirement for practical and hygienic drying solutions at the Epicenter. Enter the energy-efficient XLERATOR, a high-speed dryer with electrostatic HEPA filtration! Contributing to several LEED® credits and WELL® points while offering up to a 75% carbon footprint reduction compared to paper towels, the XLERATOR is BuildingGreen-approved and proudly Made in the United States.
