- The SD1500-09 EcoTap Soap Dispenser is part of the EcoTap Trio, which includes the EcoTap Hand Dryer( HD0935-09) and EcoTap Automatic Faucet (AF0304-09) - each sold separately. If installing two or more of the EcoTap Trio models, a spacing of 7-1/16" (18cm) is recommended between units (centerline to centerline).
The new ECOTAP SD1500-09 by Palmer Fixture is a deck-mounted, automatic foam soap dispenser. Mounted to the counter top surface and directly over the sink is an attractive, satin stainless steel spout. The bulk of the EcoTap Soap Dispenser apparatus (control box, soap tank & tube, AC adapter, electrical connections) is neatly concealed under the counter and designed for easy, quick disconnect for servicing. The EcoTap Soap Dispenser requires the standard, counter top opening 35 mm (1-3/8"). The dispenser is sensor-activated. The sensitivity or range of the sensor is adjustable with the default setting of 4-3/4" (120mm) ± 3/4" (20mm). There are no levers or buttons to push. When combined with the matching EcoTap Hand Dryer and EcoTap Faucet, the entire hand washing & drying operation is hygienically touch-free. When in standby mode, a pleasant green light shines a solid circle on the round end of the soap spigot (see image below). Once the presence of hands are detected, the green circle turns to a solid red. If the soap used is the wrong viscosity (over 3000 cP or mPas). the indicator light flashes green and red alternately. When the soap reservoir is empty, the indicator light flashes green. The “over-the-sink” configuration of the complete EcoTap Trio saves valuable wall & floor space and keeps the floor dryer, safer, & more hygienic.
IMPORTANT PRE-INSTALLATION INFORMATION BOTH HERE AND IN INSTALLATION ILLUSTRATIONS ABOVE: While compatible with most sink types, the EcoTap should not be installed with sinks that do not meet a minimum depth of 118 mm (counter top surface to bottom of sink). If sink is made of stainless steel, add an extra 50 mm to this dimension (128 mm). Sinks with highly polished, reflective surfaces (e.g. bright chrome) are not recommended due to the interference with the infrared sensors. If installing two or more of the EcoTap Trio models, a spacing of 7-1/16" (18cm) is recommended between units (centerline to centerline).
