Fastaire Hand Dryer- Heavy Duty Vandal Resistant design with remote blower unit. Small Aluminum nozzle is all that is exposed. Switch unit is installed inside wall with blower mounted above wall. 3 foot long hose and conduit for remote blower unit. It allows for easy access for maintenance of the unit. Longer hose and conduit lengths available on request with additional charge. Please inquire.
This style mounts "through the wall" (max wall thickness = 9-1/2" finished) and must have room behind wall to mount from back side. This is commonly mounted inside the "custodian closet" located between two restrooms.
HD04 is a semi-recessed electric hand dryer. Fastaire model HD-04 and is similar to HD-03 but without pushrod assembly. Nozzle may be mounted from restroom side of wall. Vandal-resistant epoxy-coated cast aluminum nozzle with start button is in the restroom. Switch box is mounted on pushrod assembly in plumbing chase. Blower unit and air duct are also mounted in plumbing chase.
High Velocity air flow is timed for 30 seconds and dries hands without heating coils.
Hand Dryer is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Electrical characteristics are 120 Volts AC, 7 Amps, 60 Hz. must be mounted with push button at a maximum of 40" above floor to comply with requirements of ADA.
