Replacement MOTOR for the ASI 0197-2 HAND DRYER (208V-240V/Newer Models) - Part# 10-A0147

ASI MOTOR (Part# 10-A0147) for Model 10-0197 TURBO-Dri (208V-240V), Automatic, High-Speed, Surface-Mounted Hand Dryer

PLEASE NOTE: This Motor (Part# 10- A0147) is specified for the current generation (see below) TURBO Pro 10-0197-2 (208V-240V) Model (regardless of cover material) and is in fact the Motor for all ASI 10-0197 - regardless of voltage.

This 1HP MOTOR is Brush Type / Dual Ball Bearing and is rated for 110V/120V, 50/60Hz.  In the case of this higher-voltage model 0197-2 (208V/240V), the electrical input is reduced by the Control Board (Part# A0437-0129) prior to reaching the Motor.

Two Motor Brushes (Part# 10-A0279- SET of 2) are included with the purchase of the Motor (Part# 10-A0147).  Replacement motor brushes (with spring cartridge) can also purchased separately.  See separate listing for Motor Brushes only.

Please note that this Motor Assembly (Part# 10-A0147) does not include the Large (Part# A0029) or Small (Part# A0202) Motor Rubber.  Please retain these two items from the older motor being replaced for re-use. 

You could buy an entirely new unit to replace your AMERICAN SPECIALTIES 0197 hand dryer (part of the TURBO-Dri Series) in any of three different cover choices and two different voltage options.  But with the correct replacement parts, you can keep your hand dryer in working condition at a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire unit.
