199-KIT - SHOCK KIT for KB200-SS-Series Changing Station

SHOCK (Pneumatic / Gas Piston) for use with all Koala KB200-SS-Series Changing Stations (GREY KB200-01SS and WHITE GRANITE KB200-05SS) with the stainless steel veneer front panel.

• 199-KIT Includes one replacement shock for KB200-SS baby changing stations, liner dispenser key (492-KIT), and installation instructions.  The 199-KIT controls the safe opening and closing of the KB200-SS-Series Baby Changing Stations.

PLEASE NOTE:  The purpose of the shock is to assist a parent holding a child in the closing of the station in a slow, controlled manner with just a nudge...and keep it closed.  If your changing station won't stay closed, the replacement shock is the solution.  But if your changing station opens past 90 degrees, replacing the shock won’t remedy the problem.  This level of deflection (past 90 degrees and bed tilting towards the floor) indicates that the internal frame has likely been bent by excessive weight / force and cannot be repaired.  Please contact us to discuss available options.

NOTE: This is not the shock for KB200 changing stations without the stainless steel veneer.  The stainless veneer adds weight to the hinged portion of the changing station that this 199-KIT shock compensates for.  This shock maybe a little too powerful for a KB200 changing station without the veneer.  See 472-KIT instead.
