This Control Assembly (Stock # 40105) is the most recent version of the three available XLERATOR XL 7 Control Assemblies.  Unlike the original Control Assembly (Stock# 40102), the 40103 and the 40105 allow for adjustments to the Motor Speed & Heating Element as well as Sensor Sensitivity or Range.  But unlike either the 40102 and 40103, this 40105 is specifically calibrate & programmed to be used with current XLERATOR that also have the optional HEPA Filter installed.  The HEPA filter allows for less air to pass through the dryer.  The 40105 is electronically programmed to accommodate this fact.  The 40103 Control assembly will work with the HEPA Filter, but you will most likely get a "clogged filter" code earlier than you actually should.  Each Control Assembly (XL-7-10405) includes the Optic Sensor (Part Ref. XL 15 / Stock# 30088), the Control Circuit Board 40105, and the metal Mounting Brackets for both.

You could buy an entirely new unit to replace your current high-voltage XL-GRV XLerator (208V-277V) hand dryer. But with the correct replacement parts, you can keep your hand dryer in working condition at a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire unit.
